Hello! I’m Gunjan Bawne, a neuroscientist with a background in biotechnology engineering. My curiosity about the complexities of the brain led me to pursue a Master’s in Neurosciences in the Netherlands. At the Biomedical Primate Research Centre, I’m part of the Advanced In-Vitro Model System (AIMS) team. My current focus is on utilizing in-vitro disease modeling to investigate the impact of COVID-19 on neurodegenerative diseases through the lens of extracellular vesicles. Beyond the lab, I enjoy reading, boxing, and painting.
